Java Development Using IntelliJ Training provides Java SE platform developers the skills and knowledge required to effectively leverage IntelliJ as their integrated development environment. The IntelliJ Java training teaches students how to install and configure IntelliJ IDEA, along with how to create a sample project, perform automated testing and manage the build lifecycle. Students will also learn how to work with common version control systems, how to improve the quality of their code through analysis and refactorings, and how to extend the capability of IntelliJ through customized templates. The class will conclude by building a GUI (Graphical User Interface) with the UI (User Interface) builder.

Java EE Development Using IntelliJ Training provides Java EE platform developers the skills and knowledge required to effectively leverage IntelliJ as their integrated development environment. In addition to covering all of the topics in the Java Development using IntelliJ course, this course provides an additional examination of the most common IntelliJ features relating to Java EE development. Specific Java EE topics include creating a Java EE project, building a website using JSP (JavaServer pages), JSTL (JavaServer Pages Standard Tag Library), and JSF (JavaServer Faces), as well as working with application development frameworks like Spring and Struts. Additionally the course works with JPA (Java Persistence API) and EJB 3.0 (Enterprise JavaBeans), as well as installing, integrating and remote debugging an application server.

Audience: Developers experienced with integrated development environments as well as some of the more advanced Web 2.0 technologies

Web 2.0 Development Using IntelliJ Training teaches students how to leverage the advanced client-side web development features within IntelliJ. In the IntelliJ Web 2.0 course students will install and configure IntelliJ IDEA, learn how to create a simple project, write and debug HTML/XHTML/CSS, write and debug JavaScript, Ajax, and Adobe Flex, and work with XML and XSL. Also, in the IntelliJ Web 2.0 course students will create a mash-up using the web services tools, improve the quality of their code through the analysis and refactoring tools, extend the capability of IntelliJ through customized templates, and install, integrate and deploy a web server.

Summary:
Introduction to Groovy Using IntelliJ Training teaches Java developers how to write applications using Groovy. The Groovy IntelliJ course covers both the fundamentals of the Groovy language and Groovy support within IntelliJ. It also covers an introduction to Grails. Specifically in the Groovy IntelliJ course students will install and configure IntelliJ IDEA, learn how to create a sample project, explore the history and motivations of using Groovy, leverage the strengths of Groovy to create Java applications, and write object-oriented and functional code in Groovy. Also, in the IntelliJ Groovy class students will gain an understanding of how to integrate Groovy and Java code, learn the core Groovy syntax, data structures, and language semantics, and create a basic website using Groovy and Grails.
