Scrum Team Training

The Scrum Team Training training course explores an area commonly overlooked by organizations implementing Scrum – in-depth training of the development team, helping them understand their role.

Agile project delivery is radically different from traditional waterfall methodologies. Rather than using command and control techniques, and handing documents from one discipline to another, the entire Agile team closely collaborates with the business and stakeholders to build the right functionality. The team is also responsible for self-organizing in order to build the functionality.

You will learn how Scrum differs from traditional waterfall methodologies, and how to change your thinking by applying Agile values and principles.  You will also learn key Lean principles that support Agile. We will use exercises, case studies, and examples to learn how to be an effective Scrum team member. Prior experience with software development projects will be helpful in this course.
