Working with Web Components

Course Summary

The Working with Web Components training course covers the adoption of web components, the future of web applications. All of the modern Javascript frameworks allow us to build components with their own syntax and configuration options. Web components are set to replace those frameworks in the near future by providing native browser support of such custom HTML elements.

This course begins with an introduction to web components and libraries that already use web components. Students will then build their own web components including learning how to use a web component on a webpage and how to use lit-HTML for HTML templates using lit-element for fast, lightweight web components. The course concludes by exploring the future of web components.
