Intermediate Tableau

Course Summary

The Intermediate Tableau training course is designed to take students to the next level of their Tableau skills. This class puts additional tools in the analytical toolbox, such as more complex calculations, more powerful interactivity, more complex chart types, and more ways to slice and dice data to mine for critical insights.

The course begins with students learning about calculated fields, aggregate calculations and ratios, and logical and date calculations. Next, the course will cover parameters, using actions to create interactive dashboards and combining parameters and actions to create On-Demand Charts. The course concludes with advanced analytics and story points.

Before attending this course, students should take the Introduction to Tableau course or be familiar with all of the topics listed here: Introduction to Tableau
