Introduction to Lean Development

Lean Software Development Process (LSD) Training

The Introduction to Lean Development training course is designed to help intact teams transition from a traditional software development process, like Waterfall or RUP, to the Lean Software Development process.

During the Introduction to Lean Development course, you’ll learn how the Lean fits into the Agile ecosystem, advantages of moving to Lean versus other processes, and what to expect after you’ve transitioned to Lean. Along the way, you’ll learn the seven Lean principles, pitfalls, and best practices.

Unlike most software process related courses, this course is structured in a workshop fashion, where the majority of time is spent in hands-on learning, doing labs and working directly through the Lean principles and software practices.

To make the Introduction to Lean Software Process course more relevant, you can either bring your own project to work on during the labs. Or, we can provide a “Case Study” to work through.
