He acts as Chief Technology Officer for Paper Hat Press, LLC and Breakthrough.com. He writes and contributes to open-source projects, including Ruby on Rails. He frequently serves as a tech adviser for start-ups and companies. He even has a college degree, from Hope College in Holland, MI, with classical training in Computer Science.

With Collective Idea, Daniel has worked with and trained Fortune 100 companies, mom-and-pop businesses, and start-ups as far west as Silicon Valley, as far east as New York – and a slew of places in between.

Daniel’s experience with Ruby on Rails goes back to before version 1.0. Since then, he’s written, spoken and trained on it, almost incessantly in some cases. His training, on both Ruby and Rails, has been well received all over the country.
