He started a Meetup group for participants to discuss new and upcoming web technologies, and recently wrote and taught a series of hack-a-thons on JavaScript and related web technologies.

Having started programming at age 10, Peter started a technology-led ISP in 1994 – one of the first ISPs in the UK, and grew a software development consulting company, delivering solutions to clients such as the Royal Mail and The Financial Times.
During his 12 years of training, he has taught over 100 public and private IT training courses for companies including Morgan Stanley, QA, Sun, HP, IBM, Aer Lingus and Eircom. He has authored many courses on web & software development, computer networking, and Linux.
He has an over-energetic Springer Spaniel with the world’s most annoying bark.
